2. WHY LEAPFROG EDUCATION ACCREDITATION PROTOCOL (LEAP)?

According to research conducted by the World Bank Group and UNESCO, higher education allows everyone around the world to extend their lifelong earnings and hence lead a better life. As a result the total number of people seeking higher education worldwide has increased from just 30 million in 1970 to 100 million in 2000 to 200 million in 2017 and expected to increase to 600 million by 2040. Let’s peel this onion:

+ Around 20% of the 600 million people will be looking for business management qualifications - that’s 120 million people. Most do not have $100,000+ per annum to pay for quality business education over 4 to 6 years.

+ On the other hand there are millions of independent professionals and organizations who are already leading high quality seminars.

+ What if we could accredit the professionals and organizations who are building a better world to offer students the opportunity to earn credits towards a high quality professional MBA from anywhere, anytime irrespective of their ability to pay.

3. WHAT IS THE LEAPFROG EDUCATION ACCREDITATION PROTOCOL (LEAP) APPROACH?

+ Leapfrog Education Accreditation Protocol (LEAP) is a standard protocol and framework for certifying professionals as Roxbourg Fellows based on CORE - so students can earn LEAP credits by attending the accredited seminars online, locally or by traveling around the world at their own pace.

+ Roxbourg Fellowship has three levels:

  • Storyteller (Orange Level): Professionals who are developing a venture that addresses the root causes of social, gender or environmental inequity and are willing to share what they have done / are doing / want to do.

  • Domain Expert (Green Level): Professionals who have a minimum of 6 years of experience in social entrepreneurship where they have become domain experts by addressing the root causes of social, gender or environmental inequity.

  • Grand Master (Blue Level): Professionals who have combined academic excellence with a minimum of 10 years of international experience to create original insights to address the root causes of social, gender or environmental inequity.

+ Students at Roxbourg have to earn 120 LEAP credits - at least 12 LEAP credits in each of the 10 subject areas to complete their Roxbourg MBA for Professionals degree.

+ All Roxbourg Seminars can be physically hosted anywhere in the world. All students will have access to the Roxbourg Digital Learning Platform that provides access to coaching, tests, LEAP credits, transcripts, certificates and medals with full privacy controls.

Summary: A Roxbourg MBA for Professionals degree is gained by earning 120 LEAP credits after completing the LEAP Certified Seminars using the Roxbourg Digital Learning Platform and all graduations and certification ceremonies are held at GoodFestival - the world’s biggest celebration of sustainable innovation.
