Roxbourg HYPR Accelerator allocates $400,000 towards training regenerative leaders at the Obrobibini Peace Complex (OPC)
22.02.2022
Can adopting regenerative agricultural practices - that include topsoil regeneration, increasing biodiversity, improving the water cycle, enhancing ecosystem services, increasing resilience to climate change, and strengthening the health and vitality of farm soil - create new opportunities for the 600 million farmer families globally?
Obrobibini Peace Complex (OPC) and Roxbourg HYPR Accelerator are taking the first step towards forming a strategic partnership that will allow regenerative leaders recommended by OPC to receive $400,000 of grants and scholarships towards completing their 100-Day Roxbourg HYPR Acceleration Program that leads to the Humanitarian.MBA degree at the Roxbourg Institute of Social Entrepreneurship (RISE).
Why?
Obrobibini Peace Complex (OPC) is led by Christian Andres, a Roxbourg Fellow and graduate of the Roxbourg Humanitarian.MBA Program where he won the Roxbourg Gold Medal. In short, Christian is a mentor, a leader who has provided guidance and coaching to students and the Roxbourg team members. He has experienced Roxbourg from different vantage points including recommending his team members for scholarships at Roxbourg.
What?
Imagine a world where sustainable innovators and regenerative leaders are able to collaborate, learn, experiment, test and scale up new ideas in months instead of years as part of a community where everyone can teach and everyone can learn how to grow innovation in their own farm or their local community.
How?
The Obrobibini Peace Complex (OPC) Team will be able to nominate anyone, anywhere in the world for the 100-Day Acceleration Program that leads to the Roxbourg Humanitarian.MBA degree. The Roxbourg Grants Board will allocate the $400,000 for up to 100 students recommended by OPC.
